| Street Beat Festival |
| Please visit Mother's Federal Hill Grille and Blue Agave Restaurante y Tequilaria |
ATE: 9/25/05 COST: $3.00 Admission DESCRIPTION: Street Beat Festival -- Sunday, September 25, 2005, 11am to 7pm. This festival takes place on the South Charles Street (between West and Hamburg) and E. Cross Street on both sides of the Market. Always the largest festival of the year, the last two years, we estimated crowds of about 15,000 people. The eclectic mix of bands draws a wide range of ages, and the music headliner draws the crowds. This year, we would like to continue to attract all ages, including young families, (there will be a Little Ones Lane again), and so we will select our music headliner accordingly. We generally have 75-100 vendors (food and arts & craf! ts). This event received a lot of publicity in 2003 and 2004, and we plan to make that happen again this year.
